Engine coolant draining begins the process before removing the V-bank cover and unfastening its 2 locking nuts. The next stage involves disconnecting ventilation hose No.2 followed by disassembly of the air cleaner assembly through vacuum hose disconnects and connector removal of the mass air flow meter and clamping the wire harness with attachment of 2 hose clamps alongside unfastening of 2 bolts. The installer should begin by severing the water by-pass hoses No.4 and No.5 before taking out the throttle w/motor body assembly through connector removal and replacement of the 4 bolts and gasket. Reinstall the new gasket under the throttle w/motor body assembly before adding 4 bolts that must be torqued to 11 N.m (112 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf). Connect the throttle motor connector and tighten all components. Reestablish the connection of water by-pass hoses No.4 and No.5 afterward installing the air cleaner assembly with two bolts torqued at 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf). Reinstall the V-bank cover with its 2 nuts that should be tightened to 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf). To finish the procedure you should add engine coolant and conduct leak inspections.
