The Throttle Body is a component of Toyota Corolla automobiles that manages the quantity and speed of the air that is drawn into the engine including based on the movement of the accelerator pedal of the automobile. Located between the air filter box and the intake manifold, the throttle body has a butterfly valve that helps control the amount of air being taken into the engine. First install the No. 2 cylinder head cover before beginning initialization by waiting 60 seconds with the negative (-) battery terminal disconnected from the cable before reconnecting it. Turn the ignition to ON while keeping the accelerator pedal static. Reinitialize the process if you need to operate the accelerator. The technician must first connect the Techstream system to the DLC3 before proceeding with DTCs deletion. Verify that the MIL remains off and engine speed falls within specifications after the engine warms up with air conditioning off while also maintaining all accessories in off mode and the shift lever in N or P.
