Removal of the parking brake cable assembly requires the removal of the rear wheel first. Then disconnect the rear disc brake caliper assembly, but leave the hose connected. Take off the back disc, springs and parking brake. Last but not least, take out the console panels, and deconnect the parking brake cable assembly by taking out the required bolts and clip.
