Start by passing the cable through backing plate holes to reach the parking brake shoe levers before connecting them to the levers. Secure the cables to the backing plates by using bolts that should get tightened to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf). After installing clamp bolts (F) to
Trailing Arms at 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf) torque tighten them before proceeding. Start by placing clamp bolts (labeled E) at 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf) torque into the clamp to the rear suspension crossmember. Finally, fasten the clamps to the crossmember with clamp bolts (labeled D) and to the vehicle body with clamp bolts (labeled C) at 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf). Screw the casing caps to the vehicle body using the casing cap bolts (labeled B) at 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf) torque value and make sure they are fully secure. The cable clamp labeled A serves to link the vehicle body with the parking brake cable while remaining securely fastened. After installing the propeller shaft with the center bearing shaft assembly you must connect all the equalizer cable ends to complete the installation. The rear wheel requires installation with 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf) torque followed by adjustment of the parking brake lever travel. Begin assembly of the center Air Bag sensor and rear console box sub-assembly according to installation steps for this part that lead to applying the No. 1 console upper panel garnish.
