How to remove and replace the Clutch Master Cylinder on Scion tC?

To change the Clutch Master Cylinder empty the brake fluid and wipe off any spills. Take out the booster assembly and the brake master cylinder. Unattach the master cylinder hose and reservoir tube of the clutch, and hold fluid in a container. Lastly, pull the clip and pin out of the push rod and then pull off the cylinder assembly.

How to remove the Clutch Master Cylinder on Scion xB?

In order to install the Clutch Master Cylinder, the brake booster assembly should be removed first. Unscrew the push rod clevis to the clutch pedals and reservoir tube and drain the fluid. Next, unscrew the flexible hose with a union nut wrench. Lastly, unscrew the two securing nuts and remove the clutch master cylinder.
