In order to service Clutch Master Cylinder, it is essential to remove the Brake parts and Clutch Pedal Spring. Loosen the Clutch Master Cylinder, empty the brake fluid and take the assembly out. Take it to pieces and oil it and put it back together. Install assembly back in, hose connections, system bleeding, and leak checking, and Clutch Pedal Sub-Assembly.

How to install the clutch master cylinder assembly on Scion xB?

Installation To install the clutch master cylinder, attach it with 2 nuts (13 -15Nm) and connect it to the flex hose with the union nut (14-15Nm). Install the reservoir tube using the clip, grease the pin, attach the clevis to the pedal, the clip, and then re-attach the brake booster and set the clutch pedal.
