Use the body and shock absorber's two bolts to mount the speed sensor wire harness during installation while torquing Bolt A to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.) and Bolt B to 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 21 ft. lbs.). Keep the sensor wire untwisted when performing this task. Attach the speed sensor wire harness together with the resin clip onto the shock absorber before establishing connections to the speed sensor connector. To complete the procedure reinstall the front wheel while tightening the nut to 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.) and afterward replace the battery. Verify ABS speed sensor signal after performing the installation.
