To access all sub-assemblies you have to take off the rear seatback hinges and side garnishes from both ends. Take 3 bolts off the fuel tank filler pipe protector to disconnect the rear wheel before moving on. To take off the rear speed sensor LH you should detach the sensor connector and grommet from the wheel well then remove bolt A for sensor clamp 3 while pulling the sensor away from the breather clamp. Now remove bolt B to split sensor clamp 2 from the suspension member and detach the nut after that to remove sensor clamp 1 from the upper arm. Finally use bolt C to end the body of the rear speed sensor from the rear axle carrier. Follow this process again for the right-hand rear sensor to maintain cleanliness of its tip and opening space.

The speed sensor service starts with taking off both the front wheel and front fender liner from the left-hand side of the vehicle. The speed sensor connector and clamp need unfastening before you remove the two clamp bolts that separate the speed sensor harness from its connections to the body and shock absorber. The left-hand side front fender liner and front wheel must be reinstalled with 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm) torque while securing the wheel at 76 ft.lbf. The ABS speed sensor signal must be verified as the last step.

Install the front fender liner on the LH side, followed by the front wheel.

Remove the front wheel and the front fender liner on the left-hand side.

Reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal, noting that some systems may require initialization after reconnection.

Attach it to the steering knuckle using the bolt, ensuring the torque is set to 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf).

Reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal, perform initialization if required, and check the ABS speed sensor signal.

Finally, check the VSC sensor signal.

Follow the reverse order of removal.

Start by securing the speed sensor with a bolt, ensuring a torque of 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf), while keeping the sensor tip and installation hole free from foreign matter.
