Starting the power door lock actuator removal from the front door requires disconnecting the cable that controls the negative battery terminal. The first step requires removal of the front armrest base upper panel followed by removing the front door lower frame bracket garnish and front door inside handle bezel and front door trim board sub-assembly. The maintenance process starts by uninstalling the outer rear view mirror assembly followed by front door belt moulding assembly, front door trim bracket, front door service hole cover, front door glass sub-assembly, front door glass run, and front door window regulator sub-assembly. The service proceeds by first removing the front door frame rear lower sub-assembly followed by the front door outside handle cover. The removal process starts with connector detachment followed by using the "TORX" socket wrench T30 to remove the 3 screws. Afterwards slide the front door lock downward and pull out the front door lock open rod from the outside handle frame and remove the front door lock with cables together. You must first detach the front door lock open rod from the front door lock before taking the door lock wire harness seal off the front door lock and extracting the front door lock remote control cable. You can open the cover by carefully unwrapping protective tape from a screwdriver tip while releasing the 3 claws and afterward remove the front door inside locking cable.
