To begin replacement remove the park/neutral position switch assembly connector before taking out the nut while removing the washer and control shaft lever. After that disconnect the manual valve shaft lock plate then unscrew the manual valve shaft nut. You need to unfasten the two bolts before extracting the park/neutral position switch assembly from its position. When installing the park/neutral position switch assembly onto the manual valve shaft users should place it first then add a new lock plate before torquing the manual valve shaft nut to 6.9 Nm (70 kgf-cm, 61 inch lbs.). First properly install the two bolts along with the control shaft lever by counterclockwise rotation until it stops then clockwise two notches before removing it temporarily. Use the neutral basic line to position the groove before tightening the two bolts to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs) while holding the switch in place. Begin the installation by using a screwdriver on the nut combined with the lock plate before installing all components including the washer, control shaft lever and nut with a torque setting at 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.).
