In order to install the Park/Neutral Position Switch Assembly to the U241E Automatic Transaxle, attach the switch to the manual valve shaft, tighten bolts and line up the groove with the neutral line. Install control cable, change the shift lever and attach negative battery terminal. initialize when necessary.

In order to eliminate the neutral safety switch on the U241E automatic transaxle, disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 90 seconds. Float the engine under cover LH, and then disconnect the transmission control cable assembly.
