The first step requires removal of the front door scuff plate on LH side together with the cowl side trim board LH and separation of front door opening trim Weather Strip LH. Drill no. 2 apply to remove three parts in sequence including the front pillar garnish LH, the instrument side panel LH and the hood lock control lever sub-assembly. The service specialists must remove in sequence the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly LH, the shift lever knob sub-assembly, the upper console panel sub-assembly, the rear upper console panel sub-assembly, the rear console box pocket, the console box carpet, the rear console box assembly and the front console box. Detach the connector holder by pulling down the lever before removing the 3 bolts used to secure the Air Bag sensor assembly and extracting the sensor.
