  • Q: How do you remove the Clock Spring Assembly / Spiral Cable on 2009 Toyota Sequoia?
A: The Clock Spring Assembly / Clock Spring removal process starts by disconnecting the battery cable and waiting for 90 seconds of SRS system disablement before proceeding. The wheels must be positioned facing forward directly. Start the procedure by removing the lower No. 3 steering wheel cover next to removing the lower No. 2 steering wheel cover and concluding with the steering pad removal. Use the three claws to take off the clock spring with steering sensor. A removal of the steering sensor becomes possible by first disconnecting the 6 claws.
