You should start installing the U151F automatic transaxle's park/neutral position switch assembly by attaching the switch to the manual valve shaft followed by temporary installation of the 2 bolts. Apply new lock plate and complete tightening process by using a torque tool set at 6.9 Nm (70 kgf-cm, 61 in-lbf). Install the control shaft lever temporarily and rotate it counterwise to its end position and then clockwise by two notches before taking it out. Install the switch by setting its groove against the neutral basic line while holding it in place then tighten the 2 bolts to a torque of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). Use a screwdriver to bend the lock plate tabs before installing the control shaft lever and washer as well as the nut which should be tightened to 13 Nm torque (130 kgf-cm 9 ft-lbf). Join the park/neutral position switch connector to the required components. The transmission control cable assembly requires attachment of the control cable to the control shaft lever with the nut before torquing to 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf). This process is followed by installing the control cable with a new clip to the bracket. Inspect the park/neutral position switch assembly functions while adjusting its position. Review the shift lever placement and make position alignments if needed. The last step includes the installation of the battery combined with the air cleaner assembly.
