The next step involves removing the reclining power seat switch knob together with the slide & vertical power seat switch knob. Start by separating the front seat cushion shield LH from the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH and the front power seat switch LH. The following procedure includes two steps: first, detach the front seat inner belt assembly LH and next, remove the front seat cushion inner shield LH. Move on to remove the separate cushion cover with pad from the front seat. The last steps require users to detach three wire harness clamps, two wire harness clamps, and remove four clamps indicated by arrows for extracting the seat cushion spring. You need to remove the 4 bolts from the seat cushion frame before using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench to remove the 3 "TORX" bolts on the tilt rod which will enable you to take out the tilt rod. A 4 mm socket hexagon wrench should be used to remove the 2 bolts and the motor after disconnecting the connector.
