In order to change the knock sensor, empty the coolant, take off air cleaner cap and air cleaner hose, throttle body and intake manifold. Disassemble the knock sensor and apply the new sensor with torque of 20 N. m then assemble all parts, applying the torque accordingly and checking whether there is a leakage of coolant or not.

Install knock sensor and connector. Fit intake gasket; install manifold, torque fasteners to 30 Nm. Reconnect OCV connector and hoses. Install fuel system, throttle body, air cleaner. Reconnect battery, add coolant, check coolant/fuel leaks. Install cowl (bolts 5.0 Nm, nuts 85 Nm), brake reservoir, wipers/seals; perform initialization.
