Service personnel must begin by studying warning notices about the SRS Air Bags since antenna cable installation affects this system. The installation process begins by installing the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly. Position the marking tapes of the antenna cord with the roof headlining markings and fix the antenna cord to the headlining through three new tape pieces. Use 6 new pieces of tape to arrange the antenna cord within the roof headlining cutout according to the markings before installing the remaining antenna cord section with an additional piece of tape. Installation of the antenna cord sub-assembly involves clamping it securely with 4 clips while connecting both connectors followed by torquing the bolt at 8.4 Nm. The installation sequence continues with fixture of the roof headlining. The connection sequence ends by fitting the cable to the negative terminal and tightening it to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). Then check the SRS warning light.
