The Scion Horn gives a crisp and trusted blow that keeps drivers of all Scions models visible and secure in high-traffic times, as the car voice that sounds when there are problems on the road. Scion targeted young drivers by their bright colors, small Release Series editions and hassle free easy purchasing system. Fuel economy and diminutive dimensions combined to make a Scion feel more like a blank canvas that an owner could be able to tailor to music gear, sports or commuting. Its cabins came with steroid stereos and gadget ports which excited gamers. Even though the production was stopped in 2016, more than a million units have demonstrated how Scion was a test laboratory on new ideas which later leaked into the larger Toyota family, therefore, the air of experimenting continues to roll on the roads. The Scion Horn by itself is an electromechanical sound emitter, which transforms an electrical signal into a high-profile acoustic alarm, and its primary mission is to immediately alert the pedestrians and other drivers. Installation of the Horn requires disconnection of the battery as the first step followed by finding an area that is not affected by heat and splash. Clamp the housing with diaphragm facing downwards. Attach a fused positive wire to the battery through a relay, attach the switch wire and ground the body to clean metal. Install wiring with loom, reconnect, aim, test and adjust until the blast projects. Insert slide rubber washers between bracket and body in order to damp vibration, cover exposed connectors with heat shrink in order to keep moisture out, label the relay to be revisited later, and then tighten bolts. Test plans Horn sounds following tightening.
