The first step to install the rear brake flexible hose requires you to attach the flexible hose through 2 new clips onto the axle beam. Using a union nut wrench, attach the brake tubes to the flexible hose by tightening them to 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf when there is no union nut wrench or 14 Nm (144 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf with use of the wrench. A torque wrench at 300 mm (11.8 in.) fulcrum along with a parallel standing 22 mm (0.866 in.) union nut wrench enables reaching correct torque values. Complete the procedure by adding brake fluid to the reservoir while performing master cylinder bleeding then bleeding the brake line before inspecting the reservoir fluid level. Protect the installation by checking for water leakages before mounting the rear wheel securely with 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf).
