    A: Service of the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch requires that you first evacuate fuel system pressure while draining the engine coolant. The service of the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch requires users to first disconnect the negative cable and remove the V-bank cover together with air cleaner assembly and throttle body bracket and oil baffle plate and No.1 surge tank stay as well as No.2 surge tank stay and intake air surge tank. Disconnect the No. 2 fuel pipe sub-assembly before using a 19 mm deep socket wrench to remove the engine coolant temperature sensor together with its gasket while disconnecting its connector. The installation process requires the 19 mm deep socket wrench to mount the new water temperature sensor with a new gasket while torquing to 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf) before reattaching the connector. The task requires the connection of the No. 2 fuel pipe sub-assembly along with installation of the intake air surge tank, No. 2 surge tank stay, No. 1 surge tank stay, oil baffle plate, throttle body bracket, and air cleaner assembly. The installation process includes connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal along with torquing it to 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf). After engine coolant addition the procedure requires a check for any leaks in fuel or engine coolant. Lastly, the V-bank cover installation is complete.
