Service of the heated oxygen sensor begins with disconnecting the negative cable of the battery terminal. Use Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to remove the heated oxygen sensors from the exhaust pipe through the detachment of 2 connectors. Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 allows installation of the 2 heated oxygen sensors onto the exhaust pipe by reaching the specified torque value of 44 N.m (449 kgf.cm, 33 ft.lbf). Reconnect the 2 heated oxygen sensor connectors after which you should join the cable to the negative battery terminal and tighten it using a torque of 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf).
