You can access the turn signal flasher for service and repair through the front door scuff plate LH, cowl side trim sub-assembly LH, lower instrument panel finish panel LH, steering column cover, NO. 1 instrument panel sub-assembly, and lower instrument panel finish panel items depending on your vehicle model. Remove the turn signal flasher assembly connecting it properly and detaching the clamp afterwards. Put the turn signal flasher assembly in place by attaching the clamp and rejoining the connector before setting up the combination meter assembly, instrument cluster finish panel, lower instrument panel finish panel (applies without or with smart key system), NO. 1 instrument panel sub-assembly, steering column cover, lower instrument panel finish panel LH, cowl side trim sub-assembly LH, and front door scuff plate LH.

How to remove the Turn Signal Flasher Assembly on Toyota Tundra?

The first step to remove the Turn Signal Flasher Assembly is to detach the Front Door Scuff Plate LH from Regular Cab or Double Cab and then remove the Cowl Side Trim Board LH. First remove the Instrument Side Panel LH before taking out the Lower Instrument Panel Finish Panel Sub-Assembly LH. The No. 1 Instrument Panel Safety Pad Insert should be among the parts removed next. The Turn Signal Flasher Assembly connector must be disconnected first while removing its nut together with the flasher.
