How to replace the Transfer Case Seal on Toyota 4Runner?

In order to change the Transfer Case Oil Seal, empty the oil, take out the lower protector and automatic transmission, and the out shaft flange. Take the seal off with Special Service Tool 09308-00010 and put in a new one with MP grease and Tool 09316-60011.Assemble parts, fill fluids and test drive.

How to service and repair the transfer case seal on Toyota Sienna?

To fix the transfer case oil seal, disassemble the engine, transaxle and automatic transmission. Install the new oil seal with Special Service Tools, being careful of alignment and lubrication. Install the parts again and verifying the front wheel alignment and ABS speed sensor signal to complete.
