To install the 2UZ-FE oil cooler assembly, clean the mounting surface, install a new O-ring, and apply engine oil to the union bolt. Torque to 69 Nm, connect the hoses, install the oil filter, add engine oil and coolant, check for leaks, and install the rear engine under cover.

How to Service and Repair an Oil Cooler on Toyota Tundra?

Drain coolant, take off oil filter, detach cooler hoses and then take off union bolt, plate washer, cooler and O-ring. Inspect/replace cooler. Install plate washer, torque 68.6 Nm, clean mounting, replace O-ring, oil threads/head, and install. Replace hoses, reattach filter, replace coolant, turn on engine, look at leakage and oil level.
