How to remove the rear speed sensor on Toyota Matrix?

Before uninstalling the rear speed sensor for 4WD you should detach the negative battery cable first. Unfasten the rear seat with its cushion and rear seat headrests on either side to reveal both covers for the rear seatback hinge. You need to first remove the rear seatbacks for both sides and then the rear door scuff plates and Weather Strips from both sides. To access all sub-assemblies you have to take off the rear seatback hinges and side garnishes from both ends. Take 3 bolts off the fuel tank filler pipe protector to disconnect the rear wheel before moving on. To take off the rear speed sensor LH you should detach the sensor connector and grommet from the wheel well then remove bolt A for sensor clamp 3 while pulling the sensor away from the breather clamp. Now remove bolt B to split sensor clamp 2 from the suspension member and detach the nut after that to remove sensor clamp 1 from the upper arm. Finally use bolt C to end the body of the rear speed sensor from the rear axle carrier. Follow this process again for the right-hand rear sensor to maintain cleanliness of its tip and opening space.
