How to service the ignition coil on Toyota FJ Cruiser?

You will need to disconnect the negative battery terminal, take off the V-bank cover, air cleaner, oil baffle plate and stay of the surge tank to service the ignition coil. Take off ignition coils assembly/coils on both sides. Install backwards then check ignition timing and engine idling speed.
