How to install the ignition coil and spark plugs on Scion xB? Posted by Customer
    A:
You should install 4 spark plugs onto the 2AZ-FE engine where each plug requires 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf) torque before attaching the 4 ignition coils using 4 bolts tightened to 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf). Then connect all 4 ignition coil connectors. 1. Install 4 ignition coils using the provided 4 bolts then tighten them to 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf). Finally, connect all 4 ignition coil connectors. Proceed to check the ignition timing after finishing this installation step. Secure the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly to the engine with 2 nuts that should be tightened to 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf).

How to install the ignition coil assembly on Toyota Camry? Posted by Customer
    A:
The 2AZ-FXE engine ignition coil installation requires attaching all 4 ignition coils with their respective 4 bolts tightened to 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf). After connecting the 4 ignition coil connectors proceed with the installation. This installation process demands the placement of the No. 1 engine cover followed by reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal until you install the luggage trim service hole cover. The initialization procedure should be executed because some vehicle systems need it before reconnecting the negative battery terminal cable.

    Q:
How to service the ignition coil on Toyota FJ Cruiser? Posted by Customer
    A:
The service of the ignition coil begins by disconnecting the negative battery cable before removing successively the V-bank cover and air cleaner assembly and oil baffle plate and No.1 surge tank stay. The next step involves disconnecting the ventilation hose from the intake air surge tank. The service begins by removing the ignition coil assembly that requires disconnecting 3 connectors while removing 3 bolts for each Bank 1 and Bank 2 before extracting the 3 ignition coils from their respective banks. Place the ignition coil assembly Bank 1 into position and fasten the 3 ignition coils to their 3 bolts which require torquing at 10 N.m (102 kgf.cm, 7.4 ft.lbf) while joining each of the 3 ignition coil connectors. Repeat the process for Bank 2. Installation requires you to attach the ventilation hose to the intake air surge tank followed by the No. 1 surge tank stay and oil baffle plate and air cleaner assembly before reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal with 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf) torque. A full inspection of ignition timing and engine idling speed should occur before adding the V-bank cover.
