The installation process for the skid control sensor begins with cleaning the axle hub-contacting area on the new sensor while preventing any foreign material from attaching to the rotor. To install the skid control sensor position it correctly on the axle hub while orienting the connector properly. Following Special Service Tools: 09309-36010 09213-58013, a press, 2 V-blocks, and 2 steel plates. Press the sensor while maintaining distance from magnets and refrain from hammering. Check that no foreign matter exists on the detecting portion and press it straight. Proceed with installing the rear axle hub and bearing assembly including the skid control sensor then measure the rear axle hub bearing looseness before checking the rear axle hub runout. Brake Caliper assembly followed by the attachment of the skid control sensor wire. The final installation step involves placing the rear wheel onto its appropriate position while using 76 ft-lbf torque. Afterward evaluate and align the rear wheel correctly. Execution of the speed sensor signal check must follow bosch without vsc procedure, bosch with vsc procedure or advics procedure.
