Replace the O-ring from the field frame with a new one and reapply it for reinstallation. Extract the starter housing along with the clutch assembly by loosening their two screws to 5.9 N.m (60 kgf.cm, 52 in.lbf). Remove the return spring, idler gear, and bearing. A magnetic finger should be used to remove the steel ball from inside the clutch shaft hole.
