The Scion xB Airbag is designed to cushion and restrain vehicle occupants in the event of a collision. The crash sensors send impact data to the electronic control unit, which decides whether deployment is required within milliseconds. Remove the 4 clips and 4 spacers from the curtain shield Air Bag assembly but always install new ones even if the removed components maintain their condition.
