How to replace the Air Bag Sensor Assy Center on Scion xB?

In order to change the Air Bag Sensor Assy Center, un screw the battery negative terminal and take off the bottom center panel. Take out the sensor with T40 torx wrench. Use 4 screws to install the new sensor in 20 Nm torque making sure that there is no damage or interference with SRS wiring. Check the SRS warning light and check connections.

How to Replace the Air Bag Sensor on Scion xB?

In order to install the Air Bag Sensor Front LH, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and remove the front RH sensor. Make sure the ignition switch is switched off and allow 90 seconds until you install the new sensor using 2 bolts, 17.5 Nm tightness. Before testing the SRS warning light, check for any defects and make sure it is installed properly.
