To install a new Scion Shock and Strut Boot, one begins by setting up jack stands under the frame, chocking the wheels and pulling the wheel away so that it exposes the strut. Install a mark bolt, loosen the bottom mount, and tip the assembly so as to slide the ragged boot and bump stop off. Wipe the rod, put on the new Shock and Strut Boot, screw in its clip and tighten the bolts back to the old standard. Install the wheel again, drop the car, and rollout to ensure that the Shock and Strut Boot is silent.
