Scion Crossmember Bushing helps reduce vibrations to make a young Scion remain light and silent in the streets. Scion was born in 2003 with colors, no haggle pricing, and limited Release Series trim that allowed drivers to stand out. The brand directly addressed first time purchasers by initiating projects such as Virtual Scion City and sold over a million compact cars. Every Scion promoted the customization process to ensure that owners would install new sounds or wheels and graphics without any headaches, and the vehicles were also applied as experimenting labs to test Toyota concepts. The Crossmember Bushing is a rubber or polyurethane isolator in that fun package, which deadens noise and maintains the geometry of the drive train as well as insulates the passengers against buzz of the rough road. The steps to substitute it include elevating and propping the car on a flat surface and tying down the crossmember using a jack to ensure that weight does not escape. Mark the points of factory alignment, strip away shields and bolts and also bring the assembly down to a level that will relieve the pressure. Extraction of old bushings, bores cleaning, application of silicone grease and pushing the new Crossmember Bushing in with the orientation marks on the right orientation. Raise the crossmember and then install bolts by hand, match up to the marks and then tighten the bolts in a pattern, re-fit the shields, clearances and finally road test to ensure it has a smooth and quiet ride. Installed Crossmember Bushing restores faith on every turn.
