Installation of the new Coil Spring Insulator in a Scion requires parking the vehicle on flat territory, chocking the wheels, lifting the vehicle, placing heavy stands, and taking off the wheel. Install a spring compressor, squeeze until the spring loses slackness, remove the spring and deteriorated pad, wipe down the seat, place the new Coil Spring Insulator in its slot, and reattach. Slow compressor release, Torque bolts to spec, re-fit the wheel, lower the car, and install the second Scion Coil Spring Insulator and have a silent suspension.
