To install the hood lock control cable assembly, pass it through the upper radiator support and connect the clamps. Install the hood lock lever, apply MP grease, and secure the assembly with 3 bolts. Install the water hose clamp bracket, radiator cover, front fender liner, mudguard, and wheel opening extension pad.

How to install the hood cable assembly and related components on Scion xD?

Installation occurs by connecting the clamps as part of the engine compartment, and then attaching the hood lock control lever and cable. Cleanse the lock with MP grease and lock it with 3 bolts with 7.5 Nm and reposition. Lastly, the fender liner and side parts are installed.
