Follow these steps to install the hood cable assembly by passing it through the engine compartment until all clamps match the given illustrations. You must first install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly while connecting its hood cable. Use MP grease for hood lock sliding areas while attaching the hood cable before installing the three bolts that should be torqued at 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf). An inspection and necessary adjustment operations must be performed to the hood sub-assembly. Use three new grommets with eight clips together with six screws to install the front fender liner LH maintaining proper alignment for the pin hold clip slot being straight up and down without clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. Conclude the installation process by adding the side mudguard then the rocker panel molding cover before featuring the front wheel.

The installation of the hood lock control cable assembly requires feeding it through the engine compartment before connecting the clamps based on illustrations. The hood lock control lever sub-assembly needs installation before hooking up the hood cable. You should apply MP grease to the hood lock sliding areas before connecting the hood cable and using 3 bolts torqued at 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf). Review the hood sub-assembly and make required adjustments before concluding the inspection process. Use 9 clips and 6 screws and three new grommets for the installation of the front fender liner LH. To complete this task position the final components by putting on the side mudguard and the rocker panel moulding cover before setting the front wheel.

Pass it into the engine compartment and connect the clamps as illustrated.

Turn the pin hold clip 90 degrees with a screwdriver, then take out 8 clips and 6 screws, and finally remove 3 grommets.

Proceed to disconnect the hood lock control cable again and remove the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.
