The installation of the hood lock control cable assembly requires feeding it through the engine compartment before connecting the clamps based on illustrations. The hood lock control lever sub-assembly needs installation before hooking up the hood cable. You should apply MP grease to the hood lock sliding areas before connecting the hood cable and using 3 bolts torqued at 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf). Review the hood sub-assembly and make required adjustments before concluding the inspection process. Use 9 clips and 6 screws and three new grommets for the installation of the front fender liner LH. To complete this task position the final components by putting on the side mudguard and the rocker panel moulding cover before setting the front wheel.
