How to install Liftgate Lift Support on Scion xD?

Installation of the back door support is done through cleaning threaded part of the vehicle and adhesive to the bolts then installing the back door stay bolt at 22 Nm torque. Do the same with the damper stay upper bracket at 8.0 Nm. Contact with the stroke portions of the rod should be avoided and no lateral loading should be used.
