How to remove the Trunk Lid Latch on Scion xD?

The procedure to remove the back door lock begins with unmounting the back door trim upper panel assembly then removing the back door side garnish from both left-hand and right-hand sides. As the next step remove the back door inside handle together with the back door trim board assembly. Disconnect the connector after which remove three bolts attaching the back door lock until you can take out the lock.
