The Scion Bumper Reflector enhances the safety of the night by bouncing headlights back at the driver to make your sporty hatch or coupe that much more noticeable in the dark when the light is low. Scion entered the market in 2003 with the bold paint/simply priced, endless personalization compact cars that encouraged young buyers to make every ride a blank canvas. The Virtual Scion City and the much-desired Release Series helped keep the hype alive through digital promotions and more than a million of Scion vehicles were produced until the brand shut its doors in 2016 with the spirit of creativity continuing inside Toyota. All Scion vehicles represented a moving laboratory of a new concept where it was demonstrated that inexpensive cars could be made to feel special, entertaining and different. The Scion Bumper Reflector is a lens that scatters light to headlights in order to keep the cars visible and the Bumper Reflector blends with the body. The Bumper Reflector is simple to install in the house. Stop on flat ground, and close the brake cut-off and turn off the engine. Touch the back part of the bumper till you find the reflector pocket, strip out any plastic cover, screws or clips. The old piece is removed by carefully prying it out by pushing the tabs, and cleaning the mounting surface. Centre the new reflector with the opening, hammer until you hear the tabs have been clenched, re-fit any screws, and replace the covers. Remain patient and be slow. Last but not least, ensure that it is seated and it shines when light falls onto it.
