The Scion Crankshaft Pulley not only minimizes the vibration of the engine as it powers the component belts but also provides the drivers with a much smoother engine rev, and a dependable day to day electrical and cooling operation. Snout clean, coat the snout with a thin film of oil, but get the keyway in position, and slide the new Crankshaft Pulley to position it by hand. Install the new bolt, fit and screw the crank with a breaker bar, and torque as specified by the factory. Replace the belt, check alignment and tension, reconnect the battery then frame-up the engine to ensure it operates smoothly and without noise.
