Replacing a new Scion Engine Mount may be approached at home, being patient and having a few tools. Park on flat terrain, engage the brake, loosen the battery connection and place a jack with a piece of wood under the oil pan to counter weight. Either remove air boxes or brackets that prevent access, loosen and pull mount bolts. Lift the engine to some height, lift out the worn-out part, align them and slide in the new Engine Mount. Install start bolts, use a hand method, and gradually lower the jack, install hardware according to specifications, and replace the components that have been removed, re-attach the battery and idle test.
