Scion Oil Pump lubricates the moving parts of the engine by pumping pressurized oil to the bearings, pistons and the valvetrain thus ensuring that every drive is smooth and lively. In 2003, Scion entered the market with a burst of bright paint, one-price and easy buying, and online game-based activities such as Virtual Scion City, allowing the young shoppers to feel that they are being customized the minute they enter the showroom. All Scions, the small Release Series included, challenged their owners to imprint their character on small forms as a rolling laboratory that introduced more than a million first-time buyers to the Toyota family prior to the retirement of the Scion badge in 2016. The memory of the Scion car is now to remind people that small cars can be fun, stylish, and smart even today. By the time you need to replace the Oil Pump, you would need to disconnect the battery, empty the oil and take out the pan and pickup. Use timing marks and unbolt the worn Oil Pump and then clean the mating surface until shiny. Install new Oil Pump with new oil, place new gaskets, set unit into place checking that gears or chains mesh, then install torque bolts to desired specifications. Re-fit the pan, crankcase refilled, battery re-fitted and engine started with observation of the pressure gauge, that there is steady flow, and no leakage and then get back on the road.
