Q: How to install the heated oxygen sensor on 2010 Toyota Yaris?
A: The installation for the 1NZ-FE emission control system heated oxygen sensor requires attachment using Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to the front exhaust pipe with 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf without SST) and 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf with SST) torque using a torque wrench with a 300 mm (11.81 in.) fulcrum length. Pass the sensor connector through the floor panel opening while installing the grommet afterward you can connect the sensor connector. After attach the instrument pad lower LH for the sedan and install the rear console box assembly followed by the console box carpet before placing the console box cover rear for the hatchback. The sedan receives the upper console rear panel assembly whereas the hatchback manual transaxle gets the shifting hole cover sub-assembly followed by installation of the sedan's upper console panel assembly. The installation process continues with the shift lever knob sub-assembly for the manual transaxle and the instrument panel finish panel end LH for the sedan as well as the instrument panel finish panel lower center for the sedan. Attach the cable to the negative battery terminal while applying a torque of 5.4 Nm followed by a check for exhaust gas leakage.
