Before installing the camshaft position sensor you must apply engine oil to its O-ring while making sure that the O-ring remains both uncracked and free from jamming during the process. Begin the sensor install by using the bolt to secure the position before torquing it to 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf). Lastly, connect the camshaft position sensor connector. The order is to install the air cleaner case sub-assembly followed by the air cleaner cap sub-assembly before moving on to the air cleaner inlet assembly. Verify oil leakages post-installation prior to adding the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.
