Start the installation of the engine coolant temperature sensor by placing on it a brand new gasket before proceeding. The engine coolant temperature sensor can be installed through Special Service Tool: 09817-33190 and must be torqued to 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf) then the sensor connector should be connected. Start by installing the air cleaner case sub-assembly followed by the air cleaner cap sub-assembly after which the air cleaner inlet assembly can be added. Proceed to add engine coolant followed by leak inspection of the system. The last step requires the installation of the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.
