Start by engaging the claw when you loosen the clamp and you can install the headlight dimmer switch assembly with clamp and connector connection. The windshield wiper switch assembly should be installed before the spiral cable with the steering angle sensor. Apply the necessary steps for installing the steering column cover followed by the steering wheel assembly. Steer toward the specified steering wheel center point and put in place first the steering pad then the No. 3 lower steering wheel cover and lastly No. 2 lower steering wheel cover. Check the steering pad while connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal before verifying both the SRS warning light and steering pad condition. This step requires performing initialization when the systems need it after connecting the negative battery terminal cable.
