Headlamp Switch

The first step to take out the headlamp dimmer switch requires wheel alignment at 0 degrees and disconnecting the negative battery cable for 90 seconds to lock out Air Bags. Start the procedure by taking off the No. 2 and No. 3 lower steering wheel covers before removing the steering pad along with the steering wheel assembly. Steer toward moving forward and remove the steering column cover followed by extraction of the spiral cable with the steering angle sensor. You should uninstall the windshield wiper switch assembly before continuing. To remove the headlight dimmer switch assembly you should first cut its connector loose while letting go of the clamp mechanism and pulling it out with the aid of the claw mechanism.
