How to remove the engine coolant temperature sensor on Toyota Camry?

One has to empty the coolant, then remove the No. 1 engine cover, air cleaner inlet, cap, and case in order to access the engine coolant sensor to the 2AZ-FXE engine.Detach the sensor connector and take the sensor and gasket out of the car with Special Service Tool 09817-33190.

How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch on Toyota Camry?

Empty the coolant, unscrew the parts of the engine and connectors of the sensor, to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch. Install Special Service Tool: 09817-33190 to take out and fit the sensor with a new gasket with the 20 N. m torque. Re-connect sensor, replace parts, add coolant, and leak-check.
