2009 Toyota Highlander Sway Bar Kit Parts Q&A
Q: How to remove the front Sway Bar Kit on 2009 Toyota Highlander?
A: The removal of front sway bar kit for 1AR-FE engine requires starting by disconnecting the power steering link assembly. The removal of the left front sway bar link assembly requires first undoing its pair of nuts; use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to stabilize the stud bolt if the ball joint rotates with the nut. The same procedure needs to be executed for the front sway bar link assembly RH. Detach the front sway bar kit by working on its left side of the vehicle. Proceed by removing the No. 2 front sway bar bracket LH from the front sway bar bushing and repeat the steps on the No. 2 front sway bar bracket RH. Remove the 2 No. 1 front sway bar bushings that fit onto the front sway bar kit.
